My response would be..”Why wouldn’t I be writing a blog about COURAGE?” Especially considering everything all the couples who planned to marry in 2020 have been through.
Many couples held on as long as possible to their ideal wedding dreams waiting for Covid to end…but it hasn’t….yet. So, they have left their dreams behind emerging into an unknown wasteland of questions, doubt, fear and disappointment. Families have been split, celebrations are unlawful, and it seems that happiness is too far away to even hope for.
BUT WAIT!!!
2021 is giving birth to a new breed of couples who look forward to the future and all the wonders it holds with a new perspective…a new ideology.. at Designer Weddings Inc. we call it courage.

February is Valentines Month. A month typically given to love and all that comes with it. Confessions of first loves, surprise engagements, and acknowledgment of lasting commitment. It is a special time to think of those we love and let them know…loudly, clearly and without fear. A time to step forward and say, ”We don’t know what the future will bring but together we will make it work.” Make the decision to move forward with your plans. So, today’s dream wedding will be different than yesterdays, but who cares…it is still your dream, it is still your magical day, you are still with your one true love and Covid can’t change that. It will still be the day that your “happy ever after” begins.

We live in a world so full of new ideas and innovations that with a little imagination and creativity your wedding day can still be the best day ever! It may be more intimate, but it will be just as meaningful and just as magical.
Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering and doubting. Have faith that things will work out, maybe not how you planned, but just how it’s meant to be.
